Huffing addiction is a very dangerous addiction that young people choose to do. The reason young people like huffing is because it is easy to get and is very cheap to buy. Lots of the inhalants used for huffing addiction can be found in a garage, linen closet and under the sink in the kitchen or bathroom.
Huffing Addiction Can Happen Rapidly
When you start inhaling, you usually will start with stuff like whip cream cans from the grocery store. Then another thing like nitrous oxide that is used by dental professionals. The kids can also have huffing parties that take place where a person buys a balloon filled with nitrous oxide for about five dollars. When the drug is inhaled it causes a feeling of a great high and sometimes they may blackout. Some of the items that are used for huffing addiction are gasoline, spray paint, glue, air freshener, hair spray, butane and propane.
Huffing Addiction Is Very Dangerous To An Individual
Huffing addiction is just like any other addiction and you should seek help. Addiction is not base on the drug but why the person want to do the drug and not face the problems of why they are huffing. You could die just off of one huff. Huffing is like heroin the hit your doing could be your last. The inhalant could cause you not to get enough air to your lungs and could cause cardiac arrest. The huffing addiction could cause very serious side effects because of the synthetic chemicals. Some of the serious side effects of huffing are impaired vision, coordination and judgement, damage to internal organs, not being able to concentrate, permanent damage to the central nervous system and even death.
